Samantha & David – Wedding Recap Vignette

When we found out that Samantha and David (a/k/a Tricky) were getting married on Halloween we were ecstatic.  I’ve always wanted to shoot a Halloween wedding.  Much to my disappointment, they didn’t go all out Halloween themed with their wedding.  After talking to Sam and her dad, however, I found out that they were incorporating “some” Halloween elements into the wedding and Sam wishes she had done more along those lines.  Well, that’s all I needed to hear.  I took the opportunity to put a nice, romantic (yet “Spooky”) twist onto their video.

Sam and Tricky got married at St. Stephens United Methodist Church in Delmar, DE.  Tricky had family ties to the Delmar Fire Department so their carriage from the church to the reception hall (which, incidentally, was the fire station in Delmar) was one of Delmar’s finest fire trucks.  I love it when people incorporate so many personal elements into their wedding and I’m very honored to have been a part of their special day.

Regan & Ryan – Wedding Recap

Regan & Ryan were two wonderful people we had the fortune to meet last year.  Regan was on the fence about getting a wedding video and Ryan needed convincing.  Well, ultimately the decided to hire us and we’re so glad they did.  The wedding was a cold, blustery day in October.  Regan got ready at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach.  Ryan got ready at his parents house.  The ceremony was at All Saints Church just up the block and the reception was at the beautiful Salero restaurant atop the Henlopen Hotel.  The fantastic Sam Ellis did the photography and the DJ was the absolutely amazing Alex Vaughan.

Everyone had a great time and their wedding video shows just how much of a fun couple they were.

Susan & Tony – Wedding Recap

Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Susan Ward & Tony Williams on their wedding day. Susan & Tony were an awesome couple to work with. The day was absolutely beautiful (albeit a little on the warm side) and I have to give big kudos to Susan’s dad, Brian, who had the constitution to sing “Butterfly Kisses” before his daughter walked down the aisle. I don’t know how he did it (or at least I won’t tell) but it was a very emotional song and really seemed to me to symbolize the strength their families gave them. The ceremony was held at the Milford Church of God and the reception was held at the Harrington Community Hall. The very talented Paula Mignogno from Barefoot Studios was the photographer for the day and she was absolutely fantastic to work with.

Sarah & Mike – Wedding Recap

Well, we’ve officially wrapped up our ’08 season with this wonderful couple.  Sarah & Mike were married at Baywood Greens on October 11, 2008.  There’s not much more to say other than we really enjoyed working with Sarah, Mike and both their families.  Everyone had a great time and we hope this video reflects that.

Here’s a highlights video from Stephanie & Tom’s wedding.  Stephanie and Tom are two of the nicest people we’ve met in a long time and they were fortunate enough to have their wedding and reception at one of the most beautiful waterfront locations around:  Green Hill Yacht Club.  This recap is another great example of how we use sound bites from the bride and groom to make the video even more personal.
